Biodistribution by x-ray tomography
For each kind of radio-opaque molecule, biodistribution studies can be performed after injection in the animal whole body. The x-ray tomography method detects all the molecule accumulation sites (organ by organ) above a given concentration threshold (sensibility limit depending on the molecule studied) and allow to calculate the local concentration with a resolution depending on the machine used (45µm for µ-CT or 500µm for CT)
Biodistribution by fluorescent imaging
V O X C A N
performs biodistribution and pharmacokinetics studies by fluorescent imaging for your relevant compound whatever its chemical nature (for instance: nanoparticles, nanomaterials, proteins, peptids, antibody, antigen, liposome, emulsion...). A corollary of such studies is the follow-up of the compound accumulation in a site of interest (for instance: specific organ, tumor, lymph node, lesion, inflammatory site, ...).
